Day 1 - Marathon training for Marine Corps Marathon
First 3 miles of marathon training… DONE ✅
Not gonna lie—this one was tough. I struggled with my pace a bit and it was hot!
But I also reminded myself: I’ve been traveling, resting, living, and not running much the last month. Of course this would feel hard.
The good news? The first one is always the hardest. The body remembers. And the next run will feel better.
If you’re starting something hard today—whether it’s a run, a new routine, or a mindset shift—be gentle with yourself. Forward is forward.
