Day 1 - Marathon training for Marine Corps Marathon

First 3 miles of marathon training… DONE ✅⁠

Not gonna lie—this one was tough.⁠ I struggled with my pace a bit and it was hot!

But I also reminded myself: I’ve been traveling, resting, living, and not running much the last month. Of course this would feel hard.⁠

The good news? The first one is always the hardest. The body remembers. And the next run will feel better.⁠

If you’re starting something hard today—whether it’s a run, a new routine, or a mindset shift—be gentle with yourself. Forward is forward.
